Fitzgerald's sixth victory tightens NLMS title chase
BRUNSWICK, Ga. (Aug. 29) — Jason Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, Fla., notched his series-best sixth victory of the season at Golden Isles Speedway and pulled within a single point of National Late Model Series leader Bo Allen of Bryceville, Fla.
Fitzgerald earned $3,000 for the victory at the 3/8-mile oval while Cole Exum of Valdosta, Ga., was second. Jeffrey Henry was third followed by Brandon Cameron and Allen. Fast qualifier Jay Johnson finished eighth.
