Burroughs grabs SRRS victory at Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 3) — Fifth-starting Anthony Burroughs of Muscle Shoals, Ala., won at Clarksville Speedway for his second Southern Regional Racing Series victory in his last four starts. Burroughs earned $3,000.
SRRS points leader Jay Brinkley of Shelbyville, Tenn., advanced six positions to finish second while 14th-starting David Gentry of Lewisburg, Tenn., rallied to finish third. Polesitter Chuck Proctor of Charlotte, Tenn., was fourth and Corey Posey of Petersburg, Tenn., who started alongside Gentry in the seventh row, rounded out the top five.
