Cook grabs third SRRS victory of 2010
GLENCOE, Ala. (April 16) — Ray Cook of Brasstown, N.C., opened a weekend doubleheader at Green Valley Speedway on Friday with his third Southern Regional Racing Series victory of the season and series-leading 11th of his career. Cook, who started outside the front row, earned $2,000 in following up February's SRRS victory in the Bama Bash.
Anthony Burroughs of Muscle Shoals, Ala., gunning for his second straight series victory, rallied from eighth to finish second while polesitter Stacy Holmes of Munford, Ala., was third. Ronny Lee Hollingsworth of Northport, Ala., and Tony Morris of Murfreesboro, Tenn., rounded out the top five.
