Wood drives Mixson's car to Waycross victory

WAYCROSS, Ga. (July 17) — Dillon Wood raced to the checkers Saturday at Waycross Motor Speedway for his second Hedman Hedders National Late Model Series victory of the season. Wood earned $3,000 in steering the Murrell Mixson-owned No. 7 Psycho Chassis to victory lane.

Jeremy Faircloth of Swainsboro, Ga., was second followed by fast qualifier Brandon Dewitt of Molven, Ga. Tyler Ivey of Tallahassee, Fla., and Jay Johnson of Moultrie, Ga., rounded out the top five.
