Whitener wins third in a row with UDLMCS
CLEWISTON, Fla. (Sept. 15) — Fast qualifier Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., won Saturday at Hendry County Motorsports Park for his third straight United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series victory in a row and fourth of the season.
Whitener led every lap to earn $3,000 in the seven-car feature event. Christian Augspurger of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., ran second until a restart with three laps remaining, when he tried the top groove and fell back to fourth behind Keith Nosbisch of Valrico, Fla., and Jack Nosbisch Jr. of Riverview, Fla.
