McCoy wins Southeastern Sportsman at Toccoa
TOCCOA, Ga. (April 13) — Reigning series champion David McCoy of Franklin, N.C., returned to victory lane on the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series Saturday night at Toccoa Speedway, earning $2,000 in an event postponed from March 24.
McCoy, who won three series events on his way to his first series title last season, topped Ethan Hunter of Tiger, Ga., in Saturday’s feature with Kenny Collins of Colbert, Ga., Randy Dillard of Epworth, Ga., and Chris McKeehan of Winder, Ga., rounding out the top five.
The Limited Late Model tour returns to action May 4 at Laurens (S.C.) County Speedway.
