Wall claims another MSCCS victory at Whynot
MERIDIAN, Miss. (Aug. 3) — Series points leader Chris Wall of Springfield, La., continued his dominance over the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park, earning $2,500 for his sixth series victory of the season and his third at Whynot's third-mile oval.
Wall, the 2006 series champion, started third and topped polesitter Neil Baggett of Shannon, Miss., in the 50-lap race. Wall’s Childress Racing teammate B.J. Robinson of Shreveport, La., was third at the finish with Justin McRee of Cottondale, Ala., and Rick Rickman of Columbus, Miss., rounding out the race’s top five finishers.

Wall earned his seventh regional event victory of the season; he won a Southern All Stars Series event at Magnolia Motor Speedway on July 20 to along with his six MSCCS wins. ... The Charles and Janie Thrash-promoted tour made the fourth of its five scheduled appearances at Whynot; it returns for the final time on Sept. 14. ... The tour’s next event is an Aug. 10 visit to Greenville (Miss.) Speedway.
