Rick Rickman survives, grabs first MSCCS victory
COLUMBUS, Miss. (Sept. 7) — Hometown driver Rick Rickman survived rugged racing conditions that saw only a handful of drivers finish Saturday at Columbus Speedway for his first career victory on the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series. | Slideshow
Rickman earned $2,500 for the victory, taking the checkers ahead of Tanner English of Benton, Ky., and B.J. Robinson of Shreveport, La. Eric Cooley of Fulton, Miss., and Allen Murray of San Antonio, Texas, rounded out the top five finishers in the second of two weekend MSCCS events.
Chris Wall of Springfield, La., who won the previous night in Hattiesburg, was among retirees in finishing 10th.
