Baggett claims Whynot's MSCCS event
MERIDIAN, Miss. (Sept. 14) — Neil Baggett of Shannon, Miss., earned $2,500 for his first Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series victory of the season Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park. Baggett won from the pole in Randy Boyd Thompson’s No. K3 MasterSbilt.
B.J. Robinson of Shreveport, La., was second in the 50-lap race with Eric Cooley of Fulton, Miss., third and Dane Dacus of Arlington, Tenn., fourth. Series points leader Chris Wall of Holden, La., was fifth.
The series returns to action Sept. 21 at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Miss., for the $5,000-to-win All-American 50.
