White eases Cabin Fever, wins $3,000 at Boyd's

Boyd's SpeedwayRINGGOLD, Ga. (March 21) — Polesitter Anthony White of Clinton, Tenn., led all the way in the Cabin Fever 50 at Boyd's Speedway for an unsanctioned Super Late Model victory worth $3,000. Fifth-starting Joe Armes of Petros, Tenn., crossed the stripe a few lengths behind White.
Kentuckians Brandon Kinzer (of Allen) and Tommy Bailey (of Corbin) finished third and fourth with Mike Weeks of Friendsville, Tenn., rounding out the top five. Skip Arp of Georgetown, Tenn., started outside the front row but retired before the halfway point.
Notes: White finished second in the Crate Late Model feature. ... Rick Hixson of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., was the $2,000 Crate Late Model winner while Mark Rosner of Maryville, Tenn., earned $2,000 for a victory in the feature for steel-head Late Models. ... Weekly action begins at the Friday-night track begins on March 27. The next Super Late Model special is a $3,000-to-win Southern Regional Racing Series event on May 1.
