Berry 7-for-7 after sweeping Four Corners Shootout

Western Dirt Racing AssociationAZTEC, Minn. (Aug. 30) — Jeep Berry of Grand Junction, Colo., completed a sweep of the Western Dirt Racing Association Four Corners Shootout, leading the final 28 laps at Aztec Speedway. Berry earned $2,500 for the 40-lap victory in the finale, giving him a $3,500 weekend along with the win in Friday's opener.
John Aragon and Jeff Davis started on the front row with Davis taking command the first three laps. Curt Daniels took over on the fourth lap as Berry worked his way into second and began to stalk Daniels. Berry slid under Daniels into turn one on the 13th lap and went on for his seventh straight WDRA victory in 2008 without a loss. Daniels finished second followed by Terry Boushee, Jeff Davis and Jason Davis. Former WDRA champion Dean Moore was the first driver out after getting a flat left-front tire on the 14th lap.
