Kirchoff grabs CLMA win at Gillette Thunder
GILLETTE, Wyo. (June 2) — Hometown driver Eddie Kirchoff scored a $1,200 victory in Saturday night’s feature for the Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print at Gillette Thunder Speedway.
Kirchoff, a two-time series champion, extended his lead atop the tour’s all-time win list in topping John Bey of Sturgis, S.D., his 22nd victory on the Colorado-based tour. Kelly Hemple of Billings, Mont., finished third with Brent Nielsen of Raoid City, S.D., and Scott Anderson of Spearfish, S.D., rounding out the top five finishers.
