Williams holds off Parker for Tucson victory
TUCSON, Ariz. (April 20) — Hometown driver Brad Williams led all 25 laps from the pole position Saturday for a $1,200 victory at Tucson International Raceway, his first on the Championship Dirt Motorsports Tour. | Slideshow
Williams held off multitime Southwest Dirt Racing Association champion Lonnie Parker Jr. of El Mirage, Ariz., for the victory while Garrett Alberson of Las Cruces, N.M. was third. R.C. Whitwell of Tucson rallied to fourth after problems in his heat race and John Cornell of Phoenix, Ariz., rounded out the top five.
