Moriarty debuts MB car with victory
TUCSON, Ariz. (Sept. 28) — Joey Moriarty of Phoenix, Ariz., won his debut in an MB Customs chassis with a $1,200 victory Saturday at Tucson International Raceway on the Championship Dirt Motorsports circuit.
Moriarty took the checkers ahead of Lonnie Parker Jr. of El Mirage, Ariz., while Bruce Duckett of Mesa, Ariz., was third. Jerry Fincher of Phoenix of Greg Jelvik of Tucson rounded out the top five. | Slideshow
Dash winner Garrett Alberson of Las Cruces, N.M., had the lead when his engine let go, forcing him out with an 18th-place finish in the 20-car field.
