It's time for the scratched-up notebook to start spilling its guts to the blog section.

Having traveled so much the past month, I've jotted down a number of interesting tidbits along the way. I'm hoping to do this regularly in delivering nuggets and news items that might otherwise go unnoticed while we travel up and down the highways covering Dirt Late Model racing.

Jimmy Mars and Brian Birkhofer have made it pretty clear — for the time being, they're not interested in mass-producing the impressive M-B Customs Chassis.

Can you blame them? The pair have won 7 of the last 10 Dirt Late Model races that pay more than $20,000. Getting others in the mix to race against them isn't first on their agenda.
