Former Kentucky promoter, car owner dies
Former Kentucky promoter and race team owner Dale Napper died Tuesday at his Columbia, Ky., home. He was 74.
The Ohio native, who formerly owned an auto parts store in Mount Sterling, Ky., operated a race team with drivers that included his son Jeff and also had a stint co-promoting Clay City (Ky.) Speedway.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Grissom-Martin Funeral in Columbia and 6-8 p.m. at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, Ky. The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Scobee Funeral Home with burial in nearby Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Visit grissommartin.com for complete obituary.
