Rain shuffles weekend schedule
Among weekend events hampered by weather:
American Ethanol Late Model Tour: Saturday's series finale at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich., was rained out and rescheduled for Oct. 14.
National Championship Racing Association: Saturday’s program at Salina (Kan.) Speedway was rained out. NCRA officials have rescheduled the show with a change of venue, moving the program to Oct. 21 at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan.
ALMS: Saturday's series finale at Eldora Speedway was halted after 16 of 40 laps; the completion of the race is scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Rossburg, Ohio, with gates opening at 11 a.m. and racing at noon.
Ultimate Southeast: Saturday's event at Dublin (N.C.) Motor Speedway was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.
NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series: Friday’s portion of the Showdown at Savannah at Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Savannah, Ga., has been postponed. The $2,000-to-win NeSmith event has been rescheduled for Saturday afternoon, setting up a doubleheader for the regional touring series. Hot laps for Friday’s makeup program are slated for 1 p.m. The Saturday portion of the show will run as originally scheduled, paying $3,000 to the winner.
WISSOTA: Friday's portion of the Mountain Truck Headquarters Fall Classic at Ogilvie (Minn.) Raceway has been rained out, with the weekend doubleheader condensed to Saturday. Racing is slated to begin at 5 p.m. More information regarding the rainout is expected to be announced.
