Facing forecasts for cold and wet weather, Florence Speedway in Union, Ky., postponed Saturday’s Spring 50 to March 31. Besides track conditions and comfort, track officials were concerned that the cold would prevent concessions, bathrooms and water pumps from operating without risking damage.

The track has practice scheduled for March 17 with the season points opener on March 24 followed by the rescheduled 42nd annual Spring 50 on March 31. Visit florencespeedway.com for a complete schedule.
