Superior racetrack co-founder dies at 82
Duane “Andy” Anderson, one of the founders of the dirt track in Superior, Wis., died July 3 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. He was 82.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dottie, along with two daughters and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Monday at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home in Superior; visitation continues from 12:30-1 p.m. Tuesday before a 1 p.m. service. After the service, attendees are encouraged to go to Gondik Law Speedway at the Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds for Anderson’s final lap.
