Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway is doubling up on the Schaeffer's Southern Nationals this season. Already scheduled for its usual $5,300-to-win event on Friday, track owner Paul Purvis announced Swainsboro will also run a $5,300-to-win event Saturday to fill the gap created with the cancellation at Screven Motor Speedway.

The Sylvania, Ga.’s track’s Schaeffer's Southern Nationals event was cancelled because of wet conditions and forecasts for more rain.
