Richmond (Ky.) Raceway (pictured) is collecting sponsorships for each of the 59 laps of Aug. 18’s Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial, which would add nearly $3,000 to the $10,059-to-win purse for the Schaeffer’s Iron-Man Championship Series event.

Fans, businesses or group can sponsor laps (minimum $50) for the 31st annual event with the money going to the driver leading the designated lap.

Deadline for lap sponsorships is Aug. 16 and the money must be paid by Aug. 17. Message the track’s Facebook page, email bill@richmond-raceway.net or call (917) 697-4776 to sponsor a lap.
