VMS among Easter weekend cancelations
Sanctioned and special Dirt Late Model events over the Easter weekend hampered by weather:
Virginia Motor Speedway: Saturday's $20,000-to-win Ultimate Southeast-sanctioned King of the Commonwealth and $3,000-to-win Fastrak Series events at the Saluda oval were canceled due to the impending severe weather forecast.
Atomic Speedway: Saturday's $10,000-to-win unsanctioned event at the Alma, Ohio, oval was rescheduled for April 27.
Toccoa Raceway: Saturday's Schaeffer's Spring Nationals event at the nothern Georgia oval was rained out. The $10,000-to-win race has been rescheduled for May 11.
Fayetteville Motor Speedway: Saturday's Fast Unified Late Model Series event in North Carolina was rained out with no makeup date immediately announced.
Batesville Motor Speedway: Saturday's Southern Outlaws Late Model Series event in Locust Grove, Ark., was rescheduled for April 27.
Thunderhill Raceway: Saturday's $4,000-to-win Southern All Stars race at Summertown, Tenn., was rescheduled for May 4, replacing a previously scheduled event at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tenn.
Plymouth Speedway: Saturday's American Ethanol Late Model Tour event at the Indiana track was postponed to a date to be announced.
Shawano Speedway: Saturday's DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Tour event in Shawano, Wis., was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.
Blue Ridge Motorsports Park: Schaeffer's Spring Nationals officials will look for a makeup date for Friday's rainout at the north Georgia oval.
Columbus Speedway: Friday's All Star Racing Series at the Mississippi oval rained out; no plans for a makeup date were announced.
Carolina Speedway: Friday's Carolina Clash event at the Gastonia, N.C., was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.
Potomac Speedway: Friday's RUSH Late Model Series event in Budds Creek, Md., was cancelled; no makeup date was immediately announced.
I-96 Speedway: Friday's American Ethanol Late Model Tour event in Lake Odessa, Mich., was reset for July 19.
Old No. 1 Speedway: Friday’s Comp Cams Super Dirt Series event in Harrisburg, Ark., was rescheduled for Aug. 2.
