Longtime Duck River photographer dies
Longtime Duck River Raceway Park track photographer Kim Griggs of Ardmore, Tenn., died Tuesday at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tenn. She was 42.
Griggs, the owner and photographer of Kimages Photography and Graphics, had been the track photographer at the Wheel, Tenn., oval for more than two decades.
Griggs is survived by her mother, Donna Abernathy Griggs of Pulaski, Tenn.; her father, Ronnie Lane Griggs of Lewisburg, Tenn.; her sister, Amanda Jo Griggs of Pulaski; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory in Pulaski, Tenn., followed by the funeral at 2. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
