Lucas Oil postpones Kentucky events
Continuing schedule shuffling because of coronavirus restrictions, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series today announced the postponement of May 1-2 races in Kentucky.
The 16th annual John Bradshaw Memorial at Junction City's Ponderosa Speedway was rescheduled for Sept. 4 while the 34th annual Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence Speedway was rescheduled for Aug. 12, opening a four-day weekend at the Union, Ky., oval capped by the Sunoco North-South 100.
The national tour tentatively plans to resume action May 8-9 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio, and Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway for races postponed from March.
Among other schedule changes:
MLRA: The Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association has shifted its Stuart (Iowa) Speedway opener to May 6. It had previously been scheduled for April 30.
