Planning an exclusive series of behind-the-scenes videos, DirtonDirt.com and FloRacing staffers are embarking this week on a 20-day multistate road trip leading to Sept. 10-12’s Intercontinental Classic at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
The Road to Eldora will provide an inside look at dirt tracks, race shops and teams scheduled to compete in Eldora’s $50,000-to-win event streaming live exclusively at FloRacing.
“This type of road trip has never really been done in short track racing, and we are excited to see everything from what it’s like to race a Late Model topless at Batesville, the goings-on at the Rocket Chassis house car shop and the Moran household,” DirtonDirt.com general manager Michael Rigsby said. “This will take us all over the United States as we lead up to the Intercontinental, and it’s going to give our subscribers some really amazing content to enjoy. I’m as excited about this as I have been with anything we’ve done. This isn’t all race car stuff — it’s human interest material and I think we'll see a different side of driver personalities.”
Look for the first of 60 planned videos starting Friday and videos every day leading up to the Intercontinental Classic with drivers Jonathan Davenport, Steve Casebolt, Bobby Pierce, Devin Moran, Zack Dohm, Kent Robinson, Billy Moyer and Billy Moyer Jr. among featured racers.
