Plumerville's CCSDS debut postponed
Wet grounds and forecasts for more rain have spoiled Friday's Comp Cams Super Dirt Series event at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway. Officials plan to makeup the tour's debut at the Plumerville, Ark., oval with a date to be announced.
With Friday's action halted, the series will on Saturday head to Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., for a $3,000-to-win event.
Among other weekend special events hampered by weather:
Florida Challenge: Saturday's $5,000-to-win Florida Late Model Challenge event at All-Tech Speedway in Ellisville was rescheduled for April 24.
High Plains: Saturday's High Plains Late Model Series opener at Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, Colo., was removed from the series schedule because of weather, but the track planned on a regular-season event.
DFW: Saturday's DFW Local Late Model Series event at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas, was rained out with no makeup date immediately announced.
MSCCS: Saturday's Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series event at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Ala., was rained out with no makeup date immediately announced.
Sooner: Saturday's Sooner Late Model Series event at Monarch Motor Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas, was rained out with no makeup date immediately announced.
