Lucas Oil’s Illinois weekend scrapped
Facing wet and cold weather forecasts in Illinois, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series today announced the cancellation of two weekend events. The races won't be rescheduled.
Friday's race at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City was scheduled to pay $12,000-to-win and Saturday's race at Macon Speedway was scheduled to pay $15,000-to-win. The series is scheduled for a July 16 visit to Tri-City and plans to have Macon on 2022's schedule.
Lucas Oil competitors next head to Kentucky for an April 30 event at Junction City's Ponderosa Speedway ($12,000-to-win) and May 1 event at Union's Florence Speedway ($15,000-to-win).
