Forecasts for rain have forced the postponement of Wednesday's Castrol FloRacing Night in America at Florence Speedway in Union, Ky., officials announced. Series and track promoters hope to reschedule the event for later in the season.

With Florence's postponement, the first-year series takes its summer break before resuming action in September starting Sept. 14 at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway.

Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., leads series with 327 points over Mike Marlar (258) of Winfield, Tenn., and Kyle Larson (243) of Elk Grove, Calif.
