411 replaces cancelled WoO event
Among recent schedule changes, additions and amendments for Late Model-style divisions:
411: Oct. 2's World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series event at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn., has been removed from the series schedule. The track plans to replace it with the unsanctioned Tennessee State Championships on Oct. 1-2, including a $5,000-to-win Super Late Model event and five other divisions (604 and 602 Crate Late Models among them).
Hilltop: Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio, announced its Sept. 17-18 Weekend on the Hill Late Model Invitational will pay $7,500-to-win for Super Late Models. Five divisions are on the undercard.
ABC: The Oct. 1-2 Red Clay Classic at ABC Raceway in Ashland, Wis., is set to pay a race-record $5,700-to-win for WISSOTA Late Models out of a multidivision purse of $110,000. The track also plans to gather $40,000 in bonuses to pay out during the event.
Tri-State: The Repairable Vehicles.com Tri-State Series will make up its Aug. 27 rainout at Fairmont (Minn.) Raceway on Sept 25. The race will follow the originally scheduled Sept. 24 event at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D. Both races pay $1,500-to-win.
Ponderosa: Sept. 17's $4,000-to-win Super Late Model event has been removed from the schedule at Ponderosa Speedway in Burnside, Ky.
