BARBERVILLE, Fla. — Facing difficult track conditions and a late-running program, officials postponed Thursday's Sunshine Nationals-opening features to 3 p.m. Friday, including the season-opening event on the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series.

The Crate Racin' USA Winter Shootout feature for 604 Crate Late Models will open the program followed by the $10,000-to-win WoO main event and the 602 Crate Late Model feature. Gates will open at 2:30 p.m. Friday at 2:30 and Thursday’s tickets will be honored.  Following the three features, the grandstands will be cleared, and tickets for Friday’s regularly scheduled event will be sold.

Anyone with pit armbands for Thursday’s event will need to buy Friday pit pass to see the postponed features. That armband will also allow them access to Friday’s event, which is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
