A wet and cold forecast has forced the postponement of Florence Speedway's $10,000-to-win Spring 50 scheduled for Saturday at the Union, Ky., oval. The race has been rescheduled for April 16, replacing a scheduled $5,00-to-win Super Late Model event. The track also postponed Friday's scheduled practice and plans to announce a time for a preseason practice later.

• Facing unfavorable weather, Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway postponed Saturday's United Championship Racing Alliance opener to April 2. The Jim Arnwine Memorial pays $3,011-to-win on the Crate Late Model tour.
