Persistent rain showers forced the cancellation of Thursday’s ninth annual Cowboy Classic at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., the opening night of three nights of action during the 30th annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 weekend. The $6,000-to-win program for Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association competitors won’t be rescheduled.

The rest of the weekend action is on as scheduled with the $6,000-to-win Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson preliminaries set for Friday and the $50,000-to-win Show-Me finale scheduled for Saturday. For details on times and tickets, visit lucasoilspeedway.com.
