Overnight and morning rain and forecasts for more wet weather forced the postponement of Wednesday’s Castrol FloRacing Night in America event at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Ill. No makeup date was immediately announced.

Two more Tri-City events this week are still on as scheduled with USAC midgets highlighting a Thursday event and the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series highlighting Friday’s action.

The Castrol series has a scheduled two-month break before returning to action Aug. 2 at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa. Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, Ill., leads series standings.
