FloRacing adds MavTV stream, Lucas tour
Live video coverage of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and a variety of other motorsports will shift to FloRacing from MavTVPlus with a new partnership announced today by the streaming organizations.
Along with programming from every event on the Lucas Oil Series, among the highest-profile Dirt Late Model tours, new MavTV on FloRacing branding will move coverage of the Chili Bowl Nationals finals, Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship and many other motorsports events to FloRacing. The first MavTV on FloRacing event is this evening with the 36th annual Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence Speedway in Union, Ky., a $15,000-to-win Lucas Oil event.
“MavTV’s mission is to connect race fans to their favorite events — from anywhere,” Lucas Oil president Morgan Lucas said. “FloSports helps us deliver on that mission, giving subscribers the best support, technology and access to the motorsports events they love. We are all in and eager to build this partnership into the best motorsports streaming platform available.”
Both platforms will stream MavTVPlus programming from June 30 through July 26, after which viewers will require FloRacing subscriptions. MavTV will contact MavTVPlus subscribers regarding their accounts and instructions on how to subscribe to FloRacing.
The addition of MavTVPlus boosts FloRacing’s live streaming schedule to more than 2,000 live races annually for subscribers who pay $150 a year.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome MavTV viewers from across the globe to FloSports,” said Mark Floreani, the CEO and co-founder of FloSports (the parent company of DirtonDirt.com). “Our platform will give current MavTVPlus users access to all of our live and on-demand events including motorsports and so much more. With the first live MavTV on FloRacing event streaming today, we aim to create a seamless viewing experience and ensure not a minute of a live event is missed.”
The partnership with FloRacing won’t change MavTV’s cable television programming.
