Farmer City postponed to July 15
Thunderstorms and heavy rain have forced the postponement of Friday's DIRTcar Summer Nationals event at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway. The $10,000-to-win event has been rescheduled for July 15.
Other rainouts, postponements and schedule changes the weekend of July 8-10:
Thunderhill: Saturday's XR Southern All Star Series event at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, Tenn., was rained out with no makeup date immediately announced.
Brownstown: Saturday's Valvoline Iron-Man Racing Series event at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.
Lancaster: Saturday's $7,500-to-win Ultimate Super Late Model Series event at Lancaster (S.C.) Speedway was rained out; officials expect to announce a makeup date next week.
Fayetteville: Saturday's Blue Ridge Outlaws Series event at Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.
UCRA: Friday and Saturday's $3,000-to-win United Championship Racing Alliance events in Alabama were postponed because of rain. The Penton Motor Speedway date was reset for July 29 and the East Alabama Motor Speedway event was rescheduled for July 30.
Greenville: Saturday's Comp Cams Super Dirt Series event at Greenville (Miss) Speedway was cancelled because of the chance for wet weather; the $5,000-to-win event won't be rescheduled.
Ponderosa: Facing a rainy forecast, track and series officials postponed Friday's Johnny Mulligan Classic to July 15. The Valvoline Iron-Man Racing Series event at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky., pays $10,000-to-win.
