Comp Cams shifts event to Riverside
Flooding at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Miss., has forced the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series to move Saturday's tour event to Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., the series announced. The tour is scheduled to return to Jackson for Oct. 8's season-ending All-American 60.
Riverside's event is the second of three $3,000-to-win weekend stops for the Arkansas-based tour on Labor Day weekend. Comp Cams competitors begin the weekend Friday at Crowley's Ridge Raceway in Paragould, Ark., and conclude the tripleheader Sunday at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Miss.

• The American All-Star Series has shifted its Sept. 16 event to Beckley (W.Va.) Motor Speedway, the Crate Late Model tour announced. The $2,500-to-win event was originally scheduled for Mountain Motorsports Park in Isom, Ky.
