WWS resets $300,000 bonus program
The Penske Racing Shocks $300,000 Paydirt Jackpot is back for the second year at the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout, the Jan. 7-15 miniseries for Super Late Models at FK Rod Ends Vado (N.M.) Speedway Park.
The bonus program pays $300,000 to a driver sweeping all six features at the popular Southwestern event that kicks off the 2023 season along a $100,000 incentive for five victories and $25,000 for four victories.
“There are some Super Late Model racers ending the 2022 season red-hot, and it’ll be interesting to see if one of them could parlay that into six wins and a huge bonus payout,” miniseries promoter Chris Kearns said in a press release. “Or perhaps we’ll even see a driver who might not have had the best of 2022 seasons hit the ground running in 2023 with a stellar week in the desert.”
Along with the bonus program, the Wild West Shootout for the first time has five-figure paydays for every event with the first five races paying $10,000-to-win topped by the $25,000-to-win Rio Grande Waste Services finale presented by Shaw Trucking. A sweeping driver’s total earnings would exceed $378,000.
WWS tickets are available at wildwestshootout.net/buy-tickets for $155, a $30 savings on gate prices. With each package comes a complimentary, free one-day pit pass upgrade.
