Castrol tour upgrades points fund
The third-year Castrol FloRacing Night in America has added $27,000 to its points fund for 2023 and has again posted $75,000 for the title provided the champion maintains perfect attendance on the 13-race tour.
A series champion without perfect attendance is guaranteed $50,000 (up from $30,000 in 2022) while the runner-up will receive $20,000 (up from $15,000) and third place $10,000 (up from $8,000) from a potential points fund of $137,250. Positions fourth through 10th match 2022's payout with $7,000, $6,000, $5,000, $4,000, $3,750, $3,500 and $3,000.
A driver’s best 10 finishes will count in series points and no attendance requirement beyond the $25,000 champion bonus.
The series opens April 18 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, with a $23,023-to-win event. The remaining races match that purse except for the Nov. 11 finale at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway that pays $54,054-to-win. Visit floseries.com for more details.
