WoO expands loyalty bonuses
The World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series today announced the addition of $75,000 to its driver loyalty program, increasing to 15 the number of drivers included in the Winner Circle program that previously buoyed a dozen full-time regulars on the national tour.
“The support we’ve had to start the season is incredible,” said Brian Carter, CEO of the World Racing Group. “That’s why we’re expanding this program to make sure as many teams can make it up and down the road as possible during the grind of the season.”
WoO had 24 drivers sign commitments to follow the series during its opening weekend. While the number of drivers intending to follow the tour annually drops following Georgia-Florida Speedweeks and throughout the season — nine drivers stuck with the tour in ‘22 — three more teams will receive benefits accorded tour regulars in 2023.
WoO's Winner Circle program will now pay $2,500 per month (February-November) to each of the top-15 full-time drivers. Contracted drivers competing the entire season and maintaining a top-15 points position will earn an additional $25,000 atop of race purse and points fund earnings.
WoO opened the season with Devin Moran winning Jan. 19-20 Sunshine Nationals events at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla. The series concludes Speedweeks with Feb. 16-18 events at Volusia’s DIRTcar Nationals with a pair of $12,000-to-win events and a $20,000-to-win finale. — Mike Warren
