Shirley, who won in flag-to-flag fashion Sunday at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Ill., to follow flag-to-flag victories at Peoria (Ill.) Speedway and Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Ill., had a 40-point margin over Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., who collected $5,000 for second place.
The rest of the top five: third-place Frank Heckenast Jr. of Frankfort, Ill. ($3,000); fourth-place Dennis Erb Jr. of Carpentersville, Ill. ($2,000); and fifth-place Bob Gardner of Washington, Ill. ($1,500). Finishers sixth-10th received payouts between $1,000 and $500.
DIRTcar is distributing $25,100 in weekly points money instead of a postseason points fund, although the tour plans to keep track of points throughout the 28-race tour scheduled to run through mid-July.
Next week's action begins Tuesday at Moberly (Mo.) Motorsport Park with six races planned through June 25 at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway.
