Thunderstorms and showers struck Huset’s Speedway late Friday afternoon and into the evening, forcing track and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials to postpone the Silver Dollar Nationals double-heat qualifying program to Saturday afternoon at the third-mile oval in Brandon, S.D.

Pit gates will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday with a drivers’ meeting set for 12:30 p.m. and hot laps to hit the track at 1 p.m. The racing card, which includes two sets of heat races to lock the top 16 drivers in passing points into the $53,000-to-win finale plus the Malvern Bank Late Model Series, will follow.

Saturday night’s action topped by the 80-lap Silver Dollar Nationals headliner will begin with hot laps at 7 p.m. Watch live on FloRacing.
