All-Tech's XRSS finale rained out
Track preparation hampered by weather and a wet forecast forced the cancellation of Saturday's XR Super Series finale at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Fla., the series announced.
The event, scheduled for $10,000- and $20,000-to-win programs on the same day, won’t be rescheduled and Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., has been declared the XRSS champion in picking up $75,000 from the $300,000 points fund for the series cut to five completed races (plus two semifeatures) because of weather and other cancellations.
The XRSS opens its 2024 season Feb. 23-24 at Ultimate Motorsports Park in Elkin, N.C.
