ULMS plans 20 races at 13 tracks in '24
Featuring 20 events across 13 racetracks in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and New York, the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series on Monday evening unveiled its Northeastern-based 2024 schedule. | 2024 ULMS schedule
Unlike last year’s schedule that had all but one race outside Pennsylvania, next season's ULMS slate will visit West Virginia for four races and New York — both at Dundee's Outlaw Speedway on July 26 and Sept. 13 — twice. The series ushers in the return of Super Late Model racing at the new-look Pennsboro (W.Va.) Speedway (now operating as a quarter-mile oval) on May 26-27, an event dubbed Race of Regions that’ll pay $7,500- and $10,000-to-win.
The biggest winner's purse of the season at $12,055 comes Aug. 30 in Bedford (Pa.) Speedway’s Labor Day 55. Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pa., kicks off the season March 15 and closes out the year at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., with Oct. 11-12’s Steel City Stampede, the 16th annual two-day show. Lernerville Speedway hosts the tour a series-high three times.
Along with Pennsboro, Ohio Valley Speedway in Washington, W.Va., is a first-time series track. Hammett, Pa.’s Eriez Speedway — a ULMS staple since 2003 — is back for the 22nd time. Five other Pennsylvania tracks — Mechanicsburg's Williams Grove Speedway, Latrobe Speedway, Rew’s Bradford Speedway, Reynoldsville's Hummingbird Speedway and Spring Run’s Path Valley Speedway — also have ULMS dates.
Correction: Fixes that Hummingbird Speedway isn't a first-time series track.
