Chevy pickup added for WWS sweep
Along with $378,000 in total cash and bonuses already going to a Super Late Model driver sweeping six feature races at Jan. 6-14’s Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout, the miniseries today announced that sponsor Karl Chevrolet will present Vado (N.M.) Speedway Park’s dominating racer with a 2024 Chevrolet pickup truck.
The Iowa-based automobile dealer, which is providing the event’s pace truck, has also added $1,000 to the winning purses of each of the six events, boosting the payout of the first five races to $11,000-to-win and the Rio Grande Waste Services 50 finale to $26,000-to-win.
“I can’t say enough about what Carl Moyer and Karl Chevrolet are doing to make our event even bigger,” event promoter Chris Kearns said in a press release. “How cool would it be to see a driver win all six Super Late Model features and get the $300,000 Penske Paydirt Jackpot Bonus plus a new truck from Karl Chevrolet?”
A six-race winning driver would be awarded a 2024 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LT 5.3L truck of their choice (paying the difference for any upgrades). The winner is responsible for tax, title, and license based on winner’s residence. Visit wildwestshootout.net for complete details along with information and tickets.
