Castrol tour details points fund
The Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series presented by Kubota released its point fund today, with the fourth-year tour again offering a $75,000 champion’s prize, should the 2024 series champ maintain perfect attendance throughout the entire season.
The 10-race national series is slated to visit nine tracks, in six states, with a driver’s eight best finishes counting toward the final points standings. The champion would received a slightly reduced $50,000 payout, should they miss an event.
The payout for the rest of the top 10: 2. $20,000 3. $10,000; 4. $7,000 5. $6,000; 6. $5,000; 7. $4,000; 8. $3,750; 9. $3,500; 10. $3,000.
The tour kicks off with a midweek doubleheader with the first half of Illinois Speedweek. Banner's Spoon River Speedway hosts the opener Wednesday, May 8, before Thursday’s second round at Lincoln Speedway, with each event paying $20,000-to-win.
