Citing an unfavorable weather forecast, World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series officials cancelled Thursday's $7,000-to-win Dairlyand Showdown opener at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wis.

Originally scheduled as a three-day affair awarding two $7,000 winner's payouts before the $35,000-to-win finale, the cancellation prompted a revamp of the format to now feature separate 50-lap, $25,000-to-win main events on both Friday and Saturday.
