Citing lack of race sponsorship, Natural Bridge (Va.) Speedway has cancelled May 10’s Schaeffer's Spring Nationals event, the series announced. Series promoter Ray Cook hopes to bring one of his events to the 3/8-mile next season.

With the cancellation, Beckley (W.Va.) Motor Speedway’s Beckley USA 100 will be the weekend’s lone event with a $20,053-to-win event on May 11. Beckley is hosting May 10 practice.

The Spring Nationals have May 3-4 races in Georgia starting at Blue Ridge’s Sugar Creek Raceway and Woodstock’s Dixie Speedway.
