July 11’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series visit to 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, will be run as the Slocum 50, a race rained out in April on the national tour’s sister Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association tour.

The event, honoring late driver Brent Slocum, has a new purse of $15,555-to-win (up from the $10,555 original winning purse) at the 3/8-mile oval that’s scheduled to host the Lucas Oil Series for the third consecutive year and sixth time overall.
