Following significant rainfall before a car could turn a lap, World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series officials postponed Thursday's $7,000-to-win NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 opener to Friday, July 5.

Gates open at 10:30 a.m. Friday, with hot laps for Thursday’s rain-postponed program set to begin at 12:30 p.m. Grandstands and pits will be cleared prior to Friday’s show, which is tentatively scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. local time.

Drivers will accumulate points through both preliminary shows, with the top-16 point earners locking themselves into Saturday’s 75-lap, $50,000-to-win Gopher 50 finale.
