Lucas Oil's Wheatland stop rained out
Unexpected thunderstorms that swept through Missouri's Lucas Oil Speedway has forced Lucas Oil Speedway and track officials to cancel Saturday's $20,000-to-win CMH Diamond Nationals. The event will not be made up.
The rainout nixes two straight Lucas Oil events from its three-race weekend as five inches of rain from Hurricane Beryl forced series officials to postpone Friday's event at Tri-City Speedway, the $12,000-to-win NAPA Know How 50.
The tour heads to Eagle (Neb.) Raceway on Monday to begin a five-race week continuing Tuesday at Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa, before rounding out with July 18-20's Silver Dollar Nationals at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D.
